Online Drives
Online drives have become a very practical way to share information. Previously, I had spent much of my time using email and burning discs to share information only to find limitations with those resources. Recently I have been working on a district wide project where I had to provide schools with critical information in a timely manner. I used an online drive to provide up to date information to the 27 schools when working on this project. There were two online drives I considered using when embarking on this project. The first free online drive is called xdrive made by AOL. The other drive I considered using was Sky Drive by Microsoft. Both drives provide you 5 gigabytes of space for free. AOL xdrive has a nice desktop feature that backs up your files from your computer. Sky drive has a great feature that allows us to embed code you can use in your Blogs or Wikis. For both drives you can purchase additional space.
Below is an example of the online drive I use. Have you used any online drives with your Blogs? If so how do you use them?
